. number one, we will take advantage of our energy, coal, gas, oil, nuclear. the president has cut in half the number of permits and licenses on federal lands and in federal waters. i will double them. the president has made it virtually impossible to build a coal industry in this country. we have a lot of coal and i want to use it. the want thet w keystone pipeline. i will get us that oil from canada. i will open up more trade. we can trade on a fair basis with people around the world. but when people steal our jobs and trade practices as a china has, i will hold them accountable. we cannot let our jobs get stolen unfairly. i want to make sure the people have the skills that they need to succeed. i want training programs that prepare people for the jobs of today. right now have 47 different federal training programs reporting to eight different agencies. think of the overhead and the bureaucracy and waste. i want to take of that money and give virginia its fair share and say, you create the training programs that work for your people. that the federal government out of it. in pennsylvania, new york state. little closer to the center of the energy with this thing. becomes a bit more scattered when you get farther south. this will come through this afternoon. then a big flip in the weather. first half of the weekend looks fine. let's take a look at the current situation outside. clear skies. 62 at the airport. inner harbor 66. that southwest breeze at 6 is bringing in some nice mild air right now. humidity not too terribly high. barometer falling with that front approaching. 29.88. we look at a few of the temperatures. east 64. 66 ocean city. chestertown 64. parkton 59, westminster 61. down to 54 frederick. in the 50s in far western maryland. temperatures aren't very extreme right now. part of the reason why the lower part of this storm coming in isn't too wet is we don't have a lot of moisture from the gulf feeding into it so it is working with moisture that's already in the atmosphere around our region. we're fairly dry this side of the mountain. vein not going to be the big issue today. going to be the wind and the cold air coming in behind that. look at the co

was wondering if you thought it was the way they came out and the energy that they had or if what they're saying has as big an effect as the perception of how they're doing and how excited they are to be there. >> well the first observation is clearly aarp is lowered because it's membership age. i think the body language is important and i think that the president hurt himself with that. i don't think that the romney side should think that he's going to be like that in the next debate. i think they'll look at that and think that's not what we wanted to project. but at the same time, you can go back to the tape and break it down like a football game, romney had a lot of good points that he got across and i thought from a policy standpoint, i thought it was pretty rich. when people are complaining that this got too much into policy and too deep in the woods, well usually the complaint is there's not enough substance, it's too style oriented. so i think from that standpoint, it was a pretty good debate for the american people to see a lot. the one difference i think was that clearly mitt romney cam
